Our meeting held on March 14th was well attended and WE HAVE A NEW PRESIDENT. Please read the presidents letter below.
Hello Mission Valley Archer members!
My name is Brice Normandeau. I have been elected as your new President. I would like to thank Dave Ottun for all the time and effort he has put into this club. He will still be assisting the board with the transition, and will still be a board member. He has attributed many great contributions to this club. Thank you Dave! I would also like to thank the board for all the hard work and dedication they have done in the past.
I would like to let you know a little about myself. I was born in the Mission Valley, I have a great love and respect for nature. I have a wife and two children. We enjoy spending time in the outdoors, and most importantly we love archery. I am excited to accept the opportunity to be your president. I would like to spread the word about the club and bring in some new blood to help participate in helping with the events. I am looking forward to the challenges in the coming season.
The club will continue to run as it has in the past with a few exceptions for our April shoot. We have decided to maintain our low membership fee while reducing the price charged for each day shot for our members. Due to the lack of funds we are opting not to have awards for theyouth and adult classes but we will award medallions for the chipmunks and trophies for the cub classes. There will also be a challenge course for those who are up for it! Bring your friends and family, come and enjoy a great spring day! I am looking forward to meeting you!
Any questions or comments are welcome and appreciated.
Thank You!
Brice Normandeau
