NEXT MVA GENERAL MEMBERS MEETING
MVA will hold our next members meeting on Thursday, January 13th. We will be discussing changing the date of our annual big shoot and the activities we want to provide during and after the shoot. Please help the board and come voice your ideas at this meeting. We want to try and get the information out as soon as possible.
Flathead Valley Archers 3D Shoot; Sunday, August 1st.
FVA will be sponsoring a Bow Hunter warm up shoot on Blacktail Mountain the first Sunday in August. See MVA events calendar August 1st for details.
Click the picture below to read a letter from M. David Allen; President CEO of Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in response to a letter sent from Mike Leahy; Director of Rocky Mountain Region Defenders of Wildlife and Kirk Robinson; Executive Director of Western Wildlife Conservancy. His remarks are spot on with what we face against hunting and the wolf controversy. You can read all the letters at www.rmef.org on their home page in the "Open Letters and For The Record RMEF CEO".

Help!!
I have been elected (hummm) as your new Mission Valley Archers Secretary and webmaster (or better put: I am up the well known tributary with no visible means of propulsion). I am requesting, (begging actually), for your help and input. This is not my web page, THIS IS
YOUR WEB PAGE. I am in the process of trying to learn all the ins and outs of manipulating
the information provided here and cleaning up some of the older information still present. If any of our members have current information about upcoming events, training seminars, youth shoot activities, archery information in general or articles of interest they would like to post please email me billg@missionvalleyarchers.com .
Please let me know what you like or dislike about the web page or would like to see included. I will not even try to guarantee I can get it on the page, (or off at this time) but will take it under advisement. I would like to try and get the gallery up to date, so if you have any hunting or MVA tournament pictures for 2009, please send them to billg@missionvalleyarchers.com .
June 10, 2009 -- Shoot Rule Update Information
Our divisions will stay as they are but a motion was made and passed at the May meeting that a category must have 3 shooters to make a division and have only a first place trophy to have a first AND second place trophy requires 5 shooters. Please note that any rule changes will be posted on the web site.
This is an article on Kevin Evans who has been to our shoots in the past and many of you may know him.
